The Cardinals and Milwaukee Brewers will open the 2019 season on March 28, 2019 at Miller Park
It was announced on Wednesday that first pitch is now scheduled for 1:10 p.m.
The Major League Baseball schedule for this year was announced last August, but today the Commissioners office relesed the start times for all games set for Opening Day.
The Redbirds will open the season with a 4-game road series against the Brewers.
The Cards will travel to Pittsburgh after that series to take on the Pirates in a 2-game set in the Steel City.
The home opener for the Cardinals at Busch Stadium is scheduled for Thursday, April 4 against the San Diego Padres.
The game is part of a seven-game home stand for the Redbirds.
St. Louis will also play a 2 game series in Monterrey, Mexico against the Reds on April 13 and 14.
For the second straight season, all 30 MLB franchises are scheduled to be in action on the diamond on Opening Day 2019.
